Oskarsgatan 12
Bed & Breakfast Holiday house
Welcome to the island of Trehörningen in the northern Gårdsfjärden of Stockholm County!
Here, you reside in a famous spa and seaside resort with a 100-meter walk to the island's southern tip and a sea bath. The area is characterized by beautiful villas built in the early 1900s, and here Oskarsgatan 12 stands out somewhat. This is because the main house was built during the first half of the 19th century and belongs to the island's earlier agricultural buildings. The smaller guest house is believed to have been built as early as the 1770s and moved to this location. The larger guest house, built much later, follows the same National Romantic style as the main house and is equipped with a double bed, sofa, kitchen, and toilet/shower. The property encompasses many value-bearing characteristics, and in addition to the buildings, the preserved vegetation of the property is also such a characteristic.
One hundred meters from the property in a northerly direction is our jetty with the possibility for swimming or a trip with our boat. Two hundred meters from the property to the east is a beautiful sandy beach with a public jetty. If you're longing for a classic sea bath rounded off with a treatment or sauna, you'll find Nynäs Havsbad a two-minute walk from the property.
Our Bed & Breakfast is open year round.

Landsort
From the tip of Torö, you take the boat trip via Waxholmsbolaget to Landsort. After a journey of just over half an hour, you disembark at the southernmost part of the Stockholm archipelago. Landsort is especially known for its beautiful surroundings and rich birdlife, but also because the island has Sweden's oldest lighthouse. Here, you can take a guided tour up the 25-meter-high lighthouse and then fill your stomach with high-class food at the immensely popular restaurant Svedtiljas, just a short walk from the lighthouse.
If you want to cool off, a classic cliff bath in an often well-chilled sea is the thing. On the island, there's also a small bathing spot in the bay called Kummelhålet, which has a ladder down into the sea for those who prefer an easier way into the water. Here, you can also round off the day with a classic Landsort lager at the pub down in the western harbor, which sometimes arranges live music and music quizzes during the summer.
Perhaps one is misled into thinking that the Swedish archipelago only welcomes you in the summer. How wrong that is. In winter, the island is perhaps at its most beautiful. The barren island and the darkness that quickly descends during the winter months have given us the most spectacular experiences of the starry sky, reminding us of what a fantastic place we are in.
